Margaritaville features condos from studios to three bedrooms, villas (townhomes) from two to four bedrooms, and cottages (single family homes) from two to eight bedrooms. Waterfront cottages have private pools. Some cottages have their own hot tubs. The villas have their own community pools in addition to having access to resort amenities.
Margaritaville’s cottages were built between 2018 and 2022. The villas were built between 2021 and 2023.
The Cove at Margaritaville Resort will offer new villas and condos with the first units estimated to be delivered in 2024. CAN WE RENT OUR COTTAGE WHEN WE'RE NOT USING IT?
Margaritaville Resort is zoned for short term rentals. There are two approved property management companies who take care of everything from managing to marketing your property
DO I HAVE TO RENT THROUGH THE TWO APPROVED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANIES?
You don't have to use the two approved companies. However, if you don't use one of them, your rental guests will not be able to use the resort amenities.
CAN MY PROPERTY BE MY PRIMARY RESIDENCE?
Absolutely, but keep in mind there are some limitations. The United States Postal Service does not deliver mail here, there are no garages with limited parking spaces, and there is limited storage space.
WHAT ARE THE COMMUNITY FEES?
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COMMUNITY FEE?
Your fee includes: Cable television service, hi-speed internet, house phone, daily trash pick-up, 24 hour manned security gates and roving security, exterior landscape maintenance, landscape irrigation, pest control, termite protection, and weekly pool maintenance (if applicable).
ARE THERE ANY OTHER FEES?
Yes, there is resort fee of $172 per month that allows owners and their guests to access all the amenities of the hotel, which include: Fins Up Beach Club, St. Somewhere Spa, Fins Up Fitness Center, all on-site restaurants, Barkaritaville Dog Park, and daily activities. Villas owners have access to several community pools. Owners are responsible for their electric bill, water, and gas bills. Gas is used for the water heater and dryer.
IS TRANSPORTATION TO THEME PARKS PROVIDED?
Complimentary transportation to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and Sea World is offered for all Margaritaville Resort owners and guests. The transportation will be operating on a set schedule. Please check with the Concierge for the current schedule.
