February 26, 2026
Spring has officially arrived at Walt Disney World, and with it comes one of EPCOT’s most visually stunning and easy-to-enjoy events of the year. Running from March 4 through June 1, 2026, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is now in full swing—bringing with it a mix of returning favorites and a handful of meaningful updates that keep the experience fresh for repeat visitors.
If you’ve been before, you’ll recognize the foundation. But if you haven’t been in a year or two, there’s enough new here to justify carving out a day (or two) to explore.
What’s Actually New in 2026
While this isn’t a complete overhaul year, Disney has made subtle but noticeable updates that enhance the overall experience rather than reinvent it.
- Expanded Moana Presence – After debuting last year, Moana’s topiary display has been expanded and refined, now tying in more seamlessly with the nearby World Nature areas and water-focused design elements.
- Inside Out 2 Garden Enhancements – The newer Inside Out-inspired garden has been updated with additional character elements and more interactive features, making it more engaging—especially for families.
- Rotating Outdoor Kitchen Menus – Several Outdoor Kitchens have refreshed menu items for 2026, with a continued push toward lighter, shareable dishes and more plant-forward options.
- Improved Garden Graze Experience – The Garden Graze remains, but the menu item lineup has been adjusted to create a more cohesive (and realistic) tasting path around the park.
- Concert Series Lineup Refresh – The Garden Rocks Concert Series continues to lean into recognizable names, with a slightly stronger weekend lineup compared to previous years.
None of these changes dramatically alter the festival—but collectively, they make it feel more polished and intentional.
Topiaries: The Reason Most People Come
The topiaries remain the centerpiece, and they continue to deliver. You’ll find a mix of classic Disney characters and newer additions spread throughout the park, each designed with impressive detail and scale.
Expect to see:
- Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale
- Tinker Bell’s Fairy House Garden
- Simba and Friends (Rafiki, Simba, Mufasa, Sarabi)
- Winnie the Pooh and Friends
- Princess displays like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, and Tiana
- Coco and Encanto characters including Miguel, Dante, Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela, and Luisa
- Groot and Figment
These displays aren’t just photo ops—they’re strategically placed to pull you through each section of the park.
Gardens That Are Worth Slowing Down For
Beyond the topiaries, the gardens are where the festival quietly stands out.
- Butterfly Landing remains one of the best walkthrough experiences, especially earlier in the day.
- Blossoms of Fragrance continues to be one of the more interactive setups, encouraging guests to engage beyond just visuals.
- The Honey Bee-stro blends education with quick bites, and it’s one of the more underrated stops.
- Camp Get Out ‘N’ Play Garden is still one of the best areas for families with younger kids who need a break from lines.
These aren’t necessarily “headline” experiences—but they’re what give the festival its pacing and make it feel different from a standard EPCOT day.
Outdoor Kitchens: Still the Easiest Way to “Do” EPCOT
The Outdoor Kitchens continue to be one of the most efficient ways to experience EPCOT without committing to full table-service meals. The 2026 approach leans into:
- Smaller portions
- Seasonal ingredients
- More shareable options
If you’re planning your route, it’s still worth loosely mapping out your stops in advance—especially if you’re pairing it with the Garden Graze, which rewards you for trying select menu items around the park.
Garden Rocks Concert Series
The America Gardens Theatre once again hosts the Garden Rocks Concert Series, with shows at 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:00 PM.
Weekends remain the main draw, featuring nationally recognized artists, while weekdays highlight local talent. It’s one of the easiest ways to add structure to your evening at EPCOT without overplanning.
Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration
Still one of the simplest ways to keep kids engaged, Spike’s scavenger hunt sends you around the park looking for hidden pollination spots. It’s low effort, relatively inexpensive, and gives younger guests a reason to stay involved throughout the day.
Plan Your Visit
The 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival doesn’t try to reinvent itself—and that’s exactly why it works.
It’s a cleaner, more refined version of what already made this festival popular: strong visuals, easy food options, and just enough structure to guide your day without overwhelming it.
If you’re visiting EPCOT this spring, this isn’t something you need to plan your entire trip around—but it’s absolutely something you’ll want to experience while you’re there.
