Reunion Resort is preparing for another major addition to its lineup of member amenities. Plans have been unveiled for a brand-new Performance Center, bringing fitness, golf technology, recreation, and social spaces together under one roof.
According to Reunion Resort & Golf Club President Anthony Carll, planning and design are complete, contractor selection is underway, and construction is expected to begin as soon as final county permits are issued.
The recently released plans divide the new Performance Center into four main areas: a fitness center, golf and gaming simulators, a multipurpose studio, and a bar and lounge. Preformance_Center.pptx-2
A NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART FITNESS CENTER
The fitness center will feature a full selection of cardio and strength-training equipment, including treadmills, rowing machines, cable stations, stair climbers, ellipticals, free weights, and more.
The space will also include separate areas for functional training, stretching, and high-intensity workouts, giving members dedicated spaces for different types of training while helping reduce congestion throughout the fitness floor. Preformance_Center.pptx-2
NEXT-LEVEL GOLF & SPORTS SIMULATORS
For a golf community like Reunion, this may be one of the most interesting additions.
The Performance Center will feature advanced golf simulators along with other interactive games. The plans describe a golf simulation system featuring Unreal Engine 5 graphics, dual sensors, and an advanced moving plate, designed to create a more realistic indoor golf experience for both practice and entertainment. It will give members another way to work on their game year-round—without having to step onto one of Reunion's three signature golf courses.
A MULTIPURPOSE STUDIO
The new facility will also include a flexible studio for fitness classes, private training, yoga, events, and other activities.
According to the plans, the studio will incorporate specialized sound and lighting along with flexible flooring that allows the space to accommodate a variety of uses. Preformance_Center.pptx-2
BAR & LOUNGE
The Performance Center isn't designed to be all about working out.
A dedicated bar and lounge will provide a social space where members and guests with approved amenity access can relax after a workout, simulator session, or round of golf. WHEN WILL THE REUNION PERFORMANCE CENTER OPEN?
Reunion is currently moving through contractor selection and the permitting and approval process. President Anthony Carll indicated that construction is ready to begin once final permits are received from the county.
The preliminary timeline included in Reunion's presentation shows construction extending into 2027, with the Grand Opening currently targeted for 2027. Preformance_Center.pptx-2
As the project moves forward, Reunion plans to share additional construction updates, photos, milestones, and previews leading up to opening day.
ANOTHER MAJOR INVESTMENT IN REUNION
The new Performance Center represents another significant investment in Reunion Resort's amenities and comes as the community continues to expand and improve its golf, fitness, recreation, and social offerings.
The announcement follows the recent completion of renovations to the Palmer & Watson Driving Range, another investment in Reunion's golf experience. Combined with the upcoming Performance Center, these projects continue to enhance the amenities available to Reunion members and their guests.
Reunion is already known for its three signature golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Tom Watson, along with its water park, restaurants, pools, tennis, pickleball, and other resort amenities. The Performance Center will add an entirely new year-round destination centered around fitness, sports, and social experiences.
