Orlando's Culinary Scene Continues to Shine in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide

May 28, 2026

Orlando's dining scene received another major vote of confidence with the release of the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Florida, as 61 local restaurants earned recognition across the guide's various categories. From celebrated tasting menus to neighborhood favorites, the latest selections further solidify Orlando as one of Florida's premier culinary destinations.

Six New Orlando-Area Restaurants Join the Guide

The biggest local news from this year's guide is the addition of six new MICHELIN Recommended restaurants in the Orlando area:

These newcomers join an already impressive lineup of restaurants recognized for their quality, creativity, and consistency.

Orlando's MICHELIN Stars Remain Strong

At the top of Orlando's culinary hierarchy, Sorekara retained its coveted Two MICHELIN Star distinction, remaining one of only two two-star restaurants in the entire state of Florida. Orlando also continues to boast five One MICHELIN Star restaurants:

While Capa at Four Seasons Orlando and Papa Llama did not retain their stars this year, both remain MICHELIN Recommended restaurants — an honor that still places them among the region's most notable dining destinations.

Beyond MICHELIN Stars, Bib Gourmands, and Recommended Honors

The MICHELIN Guide also recognizes individuals and restaurants through special awards that celebrate excellence beyond what's found on the plate.

MICHELIN awarded its Green Star to Kaya, led by Chef Lordfer Lalicon, recognizing the restaurant's commitment to sustainable dining practices without compromising quality or flavor. Meanwhile, Juan Valencia of ÔMO by Jônt received the prestigious MICHELIN Sommelier Award for excellence in wine service.

A Culinary Destination Worth Exploring

The 2026 guide recognizes a total of 61 Orlando restaurants, including six starred venues, 14 Bib Gourmand selections, and 41 Recommended restaurants. The breadth of cuisines, neighborhoods, and dining styles represented reflects just how far Orlando's food scene has evolved over the past decade.

For residents and visitors alike, the latest MICHELIN Guide serves as a reminder that some of Florida's most exciting dining experiences can be found right here in Central Florida. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a date night, or simply looking to try something new, there's never been a better time to explore Orlando's award-winning culinary scene.
