2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival: Our Guide to the 30th Anniversary

2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival: Our Guide to the 30th Anniversary

August 21, 2026

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival returns August 27 through November 21, 2026, bringing more than 30 Global Marketplaces, new dishes and drinks, returning favorites, live entertainment and seasonal activities throughout EPCOT.

This year also marks a major milestone: 30 years of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. To celebrate, Disney is bringing back or reimagining 30 dishes from festivals past, with selections dating all the way back to the festival's early years.

With so much to choose from, we've narrowed down the menus to 20 dishes and drinks that caught our attention for 2026. Our list includes five new dishes, five returning favorites, five desserts and five drinks, followed by everything else you need to know about this year's festival.

OUR TOP 20 DISHES & DRINKS TO TRY IN 2026

With more than 30 Global Marketplaces and plenty of new and returning options throughout EPCOT, narrowing down the menu isn't easy. We've gone through this year's offerings and selected 20 dishes and drinks we're most looking forward to trying, including five new dishes, five returning favorites, five sweet treats and five drinks.

5 NEW DISHES

From French short ribs to Spanish croquetas, this year's festival introduces plenty of new options across the Global Marketplaces. Here are five newcomers at the top of our list.

🍗 BASIL PESTO CHICKEN DUMPLINGS
📍 Gyozas of the Galaxy
Chicken dumplings served with basil pesto, fonduta, tomato confit and balsamic. The combination takes the familiar dumpling in a completely different direction with Italian-inspired flavors.

🌮 TOSTADA DE OSSO BUCO
🇲🇽 Mexico
Pork osso buco served on a fried corn tortilla with chipotle black beans, salsa verde, queso fresco and chives. Between the slow-cooked pork and crispy tostada, this is one of the new dishes we're most interested in trying.

🥓 CROQUETAS DE JAMÓN
🇪🇸 Spain
Spanish ham croquetas served with saffron aïoli and shaved Jamón Serrano. Simple, savory and exactly the type of small plate that fits Food & Wine well.

🥩 BOEUF BRAISE VIN ROUGE ET ECHALOTTES, GÂTEAU DE POMES DE TERRE
🇫🇷 France
Red wine-braised short ribs served with shallot confit and potato gâteau. This looks to be one of the richer and more substantial new dishes on this year's menu.

🍖 WIENER SCHNITZEL
🇩🇪 Germany
Breaded veal cutlet served with mustard, warm Yukon Gold potato salad, bacon, watercress-radish salad and lemon. It's a classic German combination and an easy addition to our must-try list.

5 RETURNING FAVORITES

The 30th anniversary is bringing plenty of familiar dishes back to EPCOT. Some are recent festival favorites, while others reach much further back into Food & Wine history.

🐟 CAST IRON-SEARED RIVER TROUT
📍 Bramblewood Bites
Cast iron-seared river trout served with vanilla-butternut squash purée, Brussels sprouts salad, candied pecans, spiced pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries and maple dressing. The combination of trout and fall flavors makes this one particularly fitting for Food & Wine.

🥟 STREET CORN-STYLE DUMPLINGS
📍 Gyozas of the Galaxy
Chicken dumplings topped with tomatillo salsa verde, street corn salad, cotija, lime crema and cilantro. It's one of the more interesting combinations at the festival and one we're glad to see return.

🥩 FILET MIGNON
🇨🇦 Canada
Filet mignon served with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Originally introduced at the festival in 2011, it's a straightforward combination that has remained a popular stop for meat lovers.

🦞 GULF COAST-STYLE SEAFOOD ROLL
🇺🇸 Hops & Barley
Warm-water lobster and rock shrimp combined with lobster bisque and sherry crème fraîche on a toasted brioche bun. Originally introduced in 2006, the seafood roll returns 20 years later for the festival's 30th anniversary.

🍖 ROASTED LAMB CHOP
🇦🇺 Australia
Roasted lamb chop served with mint pesto and crushed salt-and-vinegar potato chips. Another dish dating back to 2006, the combination of lamb, mint and crispy potatoes makes this one we're glad to see back.

5 SWEET TREATS

There is no shortage of desserts around EPCOT during Food & Wine. Our five picks for 2026 range from familiar fall flavors to Italian panna cotta and French crème brûlée.

🍎 CARAMEL-APPLE CHEESECAKE BAUMKUCHEN
📍 Connections Eatery
Caramel-apple cheesecake Baumkuchen brings together classic fall flavors with the distinctive layers of the traditional German-style cake. It's a brand-new dessert for 2026 and one that immediately caught our attention.

🍋 LEMON-ALMOND-OLIVE OIL CAKE
📍 Earth Eats
Lemon-almond-olive oil cake served with whipped Greek yogurt panna cotta. Lemon and almond paired with the richness of olive oil and a creamy accompaniment makes this one of the desserts we're looking forward to trying when Earth Eats opens later in the festival.

🫐 PALETA DE MORAS
🇲🇽 Mexico
Berry ice pop filled with sweetened condensed milk and topped with chili-lime seasoning. Sweet, tart, creamy and spicy all in one dessert — and a refreshing option for a warm Florida afternoon.

🍮 ALMOND PANNA COTTA
🇮🇹 Italy
Almond panna cotta served with orange marmalade, whipped cream and candied almonds. It's one of the simpler desserts on our list, but the combination of almond and orange is what caught our attention.

🍮 CRÈME BRÛLÉE PISTACHE, CONFITURE DE FRUITS ROUGES
🇫🇷 France
Pistachio crème brûlée served with berry compote. The combination of pistachio, caramelized crème brûlée and berries earns this new dessert a spot among our five sweets to try.

5 DRINKS

Food may get most of the attention, but Food & Wine also brings an extensive selection of cocktails, beer, wine, sake and non-alcoholic specialties to EPCOT. These are five drinks that stood out to us for 2026.

🍎 FROZEN APPLE BLOSSOM
📍 Festival Favorites
Apple cider, ginger ale and apple brandy blended with mini marshmallows and maple syrup. It's essentially fall in frozen cocktail form and one of the most unique new drinks on the menu.

🍹 FRUTA DE LA PASIÓN
🇲🇽 Mexico
Blanco tequila and mezcal combined with passion fruit purée and citrus juice and finished with a salty chili rim. Tart, smoky and slightly spicy, this one should be worth a stop for tequila and mezcal fans.

🍸 AUTUMN BREEZE
🇯🇵 Japan
Plum wine cocktail with kiwi syrup, apple juice and a hint of yuzu. The combination sounds lighter and more refreshing than many of the sweeter seasonal cocktails around the festival.

🥃 MIDNIGHT SAFARI
📍 Refreshment Outpost
Mansas African Whisky and crème de cassis mixed with sour mix and garnished with blackberry and mint. It's one of the more unusual spirit combinations on this year's menu and a drink we're interested in trying.

🥒SPARKLING CUCUMBER-GIN COCKTAIL
🇬🇧 United Kingdom
Fords Gin, blackberry brandy and cucumber syrup combined with lemonade and Prosecco. Crisp cucumber, berries and sparkling wine make this one of the drinks we're most looking forward to trying.

CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF EPCOT FOOD & WINE

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival debuted in 1996, and Disney is using this year's milestone as an opportunity to look back at three decades of festival menus.

For the 30th anniversary, 30 dishes from previous festivals are returning or being reimagined for 2026. Some go all the way back to the 1990s, while others represent favorites from more recent years.

Among the throwbacks are the Dumplings Trio from China, originally introduced in 1996; the Chicken Souvlaki Gyro and Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese from 1997; Canada's Cheddar and Bacon Soup from 2000; and the Roasted Lamb Chop and Gulf Coast-style Seafood Roll from 2006.

Festival Favorites in CommuniCore Plaza will also feature several dishes pulled from Food & Wine history. Keep in mind that this marketplace opens September 9, a couple of weeks after the festival begins.

EMILE'S FROMAGE MONTAGE

Cheese lovers can once again take part in Emile's Fromage Montage, the festival's cheese-themed food stroll.

Pick up a Festival Passport and look for specially marked dishes at participating Global Marketplaces. Purchase any five qualifying dishes and collect a stamp for each one. Once you've collected five stamps, bring the completed passport to Shimmering Sips to receive a special festival treat.

You don't have to complete the challenge in one visit, either. Stamps can be collected over multiple visits during the festival.

There will be even more cheese later in the season. The Wedge Hosted by Dairy Does More will be available in CommuniCore Hall from September 18 through November 8, with cheese selections and several varieties of macaroni and cheese among its offerings.

EAT TO THE BEAT CONCERT SERIES

The Eat to the Beat Concert Series returns to America Gardens Theatre from August 27 through November 16, bringing a mix of nationally known artists and local performers to EPCOT. REMY'S RATATOUILLE HIDE & SQUEAK

Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak returns as another way to explore the festival. Guests can purchase a map and stickers before searching EPCOT for Remy, who can be found hiding with different ingredients throughout the park.

After locating each Remy and matching the corresponding stickers to the map, guests can turn in their completed map for a festival keepsake. It's also a good way to give younger visitors something to do while making your way around the Global Marketplaces.

PLUTO'S PUMPKIN PURSUIT

Halloween arrives during the second half of the festival with Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit, running from September 25 through November 2. Guests purchase a game board and search EPCOT for decorative pumpkins inspired by Disney characters. Match the corresponding stickers to the locations on the board and redeem it for a keepsake.

BEFORE YOU GO

The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs August 27 through November 21, but it's important to know that not everything opens on the first day. Festival Favorites opens September 9, while The Wedge arrives September 18. Several additional Global Marketplaces, including Earth Eats, India and The Alps, don't open until October 2. If there's a specific dish or marketplace you're planning your visit around, check its availability before heading to EPCOT.

With more than 30 Global Marketplaces, new dishes and drinks, returning favorites from three decades of Food & Wine, nightly entertainment and seasonal activities, there's far more to experience than most guests could fit into a single visit.

Whether you're going for the food, the drinks, a favorite Eat to the Beat performer or simply another lap around World Showcase, EPCOT's 30th anniversary celebration gives us plenty to look forward to this fall.
